About Me

At 45, I stand at the intersection of experience and vigor, bringing over three decades of fitness expertise to the table. My journey into the world of physical training began at 14, when I first stepped into a gym—not knowing then that it would become both my sanctuary and profession.

My Journey

What started as teenage curiosity evolved into a lifelong passion. Through collegiate athletics, professional certifications, and continuous education in exercise science and aging physiology, I’ve built a comprehensive understanding of how our bodies change and adapt throughout life.

My specialization in senior fitness didn’t happen by chance. After witnessing my own parents’ struggles with maintaining mobility and strength as they aged, I recognized a critical gap in the fitness industry. Too often, older adults were either overlooked or approached with diminished expectations.

My Philosophy

I believe aging is not about decline but evolution. The human body remains remarkably adaptable well into our later decades, capable of building strength, improving balance, and enhancing cardiovascular health at any age.

My training methodology centers on three core principles:

  • Functional movement patterns that support daily activities and independence
  • Progressive resistance training tailored to individual capabilities
  • Sustainable practices that build lifetime habits, not short-term fixes

My Expertise

After 20+ years as a professional trainer, I’ve developed particular expertise in:

  • Strength training modifications for joint sensitivity
  • Balance and fall prevention protocols
  • Cardiovascular conditioning for heart health
  • Mobility work for arthritis and restricted movement
  • Nutritional guidance supporting active aging
